SDHHC Seeks Comments on CoC Consolidated Application

Each year the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocates funding for homeless assistance programs through the Continuum of Care (CoC) competition process. In order to receive funding, each Continuum of Care must submit a consolidated application for funding that describes how local activities meet or exceed HUD requirements and are aligned with community needs.

In addition to the set-asides, there is $3,425,000 General Pool funds available for the 2014 HOME applications. The 2014 per project limit is $685,000; the per developer, sponsor, or owner limit is $856,250; and the per community limit is $1,712,500.

SDHDA Awards $1.8 Million in Housing Opportunity Funds

Recently South Dakota Housing Development Authority’s (SDHDA) Board of Commissioners approved $1.8 million in Housing Opportunity Funds (HOF) for various housing projects and programs across the state.
