"Paint – South Dakota” is underway and South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) is seeking volunteers to pick up paint brushes and set aside some free time to help residents in their communities.

Schedules are busy and SDHDA understands that. To make life easier we will be hosting an online meeting at 5:30 p.m. CT in conjunction with the public meeting on Wednesday, February 3. For those that can attend, the meeting will be at South Dakota Housing Development Authority, 3060 E. South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA), in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), is encouraging public participation in upcoming housing and community development meetings.

The HOME program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, provides financing to developers and/or owners for acquisition, new construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing. SDHDA has $2 million available for affordable single and multifamily housing opportunities statewide.
