South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) along with The Rural Collaborative and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development are pleased to announce the upcoming HOME Investment Partnership Program Workshop to be offered in Pierre next month. On May 8 & 9, 2008, two presenters with combined 70 years of experience in affordable housing development along with SDHDA staff will highlight the HOME Program, the development process, program requirements and even show you how to apply the principles by using case studies.

To expand the supply of affordable housing in South Dakota, developers and/or owners can utilize the HOME Program for new construction and rehabilitation of housing for low-income households. The HOME Program is administered statewide by SDHDA. Developers, property owners, and other interested parties are welcome to come learn about how to utilize the HOME Program at the upcoming workshop which will be held on May 8 & 9, 2008 at the Ramkota River Centre in Pierre.
