Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) announced today that the Sicangu Wicoti Awanyakape, that serves the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, will receive an Indian Housing Block Grant Award of $1,763,152 for activities consistent with the tribes housing plan. February 8, 2008 - To remain competitive in today’s financial market, interest rates have been lowered again for First-time Homebuyer Loans through The South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA). On February 6, 2008, the SDHDA Board of Commissioners lowered the First-time Homebuyers Program Step Rate to 3.95%. The Fixed Rate was lowered to 4.95% and the Fixed Rate Plus option was reduced to 5.425%. more »
